ShiftSum Time Card turns clock-in and clock-out times into exact hours worked. It handles multiple in and out punches per day, overnight shifts that cross midnight, unpaid lunch breaks, 12-hour and 24-hour (military) time, and punch rounding including the 7-minute rule. Hours are shown in hours and minutes and in decimal, split into regular, overtime, and double time per workweek (US federal 40-hour rule, California daily rules, or your own thresholds), with gross pay to the cent and a printable timesheet with signature lines.

Punch rounding: nearest 5, 6, or 15 minutes, or the 7-minute rule
Gross pay in exact cents for any currency
Warnings for overlapping punches, missing clock-outs, and shifts over 16 hours
Editable time card in the chat, CSV export, and a printable PDF timesheet with employee and supervisor signature lines

Limitations

Overtime rules vary by jurisdiction and contract; results are informational and are not payroll, tax, or legal advice
Gross pay only: no taxes, deductions, tips, shift differentials, or blended overtime rates for multiple pay rates
Clock times are treated as wall-clock time; a daylight-saving change during a shift is flagged but not adjusted
Overnight shifts count toward the day they started; up to 62 days per calculation
Does not track time live, store time cards, or connect to payroll systems
